AMAZON RESEARCH & CONSERVATION CENTER - 6 days

The ARCC is a locally owned rainforest lodge that protects 11,800 h of pristine rainforest in southeastern Peru. One of the last pristine rivers the lodge lies at the shore of the oxbow lake Soledad, home to the Giant River Otters.
Day 1 : Lima- Puerto Maldonado
Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and 2 hour car transfer to the river port on the Rio Las Piedras. Lunch en route and afternoon Lake outing.
Evening talk and photo workshop.
Day 2 - 5 : ARCC
The program includes 2 morning and two afternoon visits to Lake Soledad, one morning visit to the Mirador and parrot claylick, one morning and one afternoon forest hike, one climb to the platform.
Day 6 : Return to Puerto Maldonado
Early morning visit to the Macaw Claylick en route to Puerto Maldonado.
Transfer back to Puerto Maldonado and drop off at airport. Services end at the airport.
Services Include: USD price p/ person in the ARCC cabins in double occupancy room, all meals upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado through lunch on the last day, car and boat transfer from airport to airport, all guided outings as programmed by the coach and detailed in the program, English speaking Safari Coach and local assistant guide, drinking water from dispenser, juice at meals.
Services do not include: Alcoholic beverages, tips, extra transfers or trips for forgotten items, due to delayed flights, extra costs incurred due to flight situations, airport taxes.
